Contest terms AWARDS 2024 - LOLA

LOLA award. These prestigious awards recognize outstanding achievements and innovations in the ICT industry. The LOLA ICT Awards celebrate creativity, dedication, and the impact of technology on our world.


Conditions.

The project must meet the following conditions:

  • The project has clearly improved service delivery to customers.
  • The project's approach can be broad, such as digitization of a service, creating a website, an app, etc.
  • The target audience of the project consist of LOLA members.
  • The project started no earlier than 2022 and ended in 2024. The results of the project must be measurable or visible and should be described in the submitted file.


Procedure.

  • Each participant submits their own project.
  • Each participant can submit multiple projects (one proposal per registration form).
  • Based on the submissions, a jury will shortlist 3 selected projects.
  • The jury may contact the initiators of the shortlisted projects for further explanation and presentation of the project for Manage IT 2024.
  • Based on the shortlist, the jury will select the project to which the "LOLA" award will be granted.

 

Criteria.
The jury will first assess whether the projects meet the outlined conditions. After that, the winner is chosen based on the quality of the project, its execution, and the demonstrated impact. The size, scope, and budget of the project will not influence the evaluation.


Participation.

Anyone who meets the conditions and criteria can submit a project.

  • Submissions must be made using the online registration form no later than November 25th at 12:00 PM. CLICK HERE
  • By participating, entrants agree to the rules of this competition.
  • If selected as a laureate, participants agree to provide additional information about their project by Monday, December 2nd, 2024.
  • Excluded from participation are staff members of V-ICT-OR, jury members, and their respective organizations.
  • The initiators of the three selected projects agree that V-ICT-OR may use their information in presentations and publications related to the selected projects.


Jury.
The jury consists of the V-ICT-OR Board of Directors. No correspondence will be held regarding the jury’s deliberations or decisions. The jury will select one winner from the three shortlisted projects. They reserve the right not to award a prize if deemed appropriate. Jury members commit to complete confidentiality regarding the content of the submissions, the evaluation process, and the results until the winners are announced at Manage IT 2024. Submitted materials become the property of V-ICT-OR and will not be returned.

Award ceremony.
The "LOLA" award will be presented at Manage IT on Thursday, December 12th. The initiators of the selected projects commit to attending to Manage IT to present their project.
