Public services must unlock their imagination, embrace digital to defeat austerity

Digital: it's the answer to the "successive waves of draconian cuts" hitting Britain's public services. But getting service departments to embrace technology is proving difficult, says the Society of Information Technology Management (Socitm), the body that promotes effective and efficient use of Information Technology in the public sector.
